By chance does anyone know of a code that allows you to not respawn in Mario Kart 7? I found a Drive Anywhere code, which I modified the button activators for, and now works pretty good. But you can't really go very far off the track or land on very many out of bounds areas without respawning, and I haven't found the code I'm looking for. I did find a code that prevents you from respawning, but you also do anything after going OOB. A noclip code would also be cool, but it's less important.

This video shows it in action, but it's not in the description.

Note: I'm using an emulator.

I got MKDS, and my (original, now dead) DS Lite, on May 13th, 2009. It's hard to believe it's almost 10 years later.

alot of codes are private for mk7  but if it does exist try asking fishguy6564 on discord.  if its not private he will give it to you.

Using No DC doesn't fully disable out of bounds, but it prevents you from hitting hidden barriers that will count you out of bounds. You still can't drive directly on stuff that will count you out of bounds.

I'm not sure how emulators handle the codes, but if you want it in a plugin, here:

https://github.com/DarkFlare69/MK7-Online-NTR-Plugin-v3/raw/master/MarioKart7.3gx

And in Gateway format:

D3000000 00000000

3FFFFBF4 18000000

BFFFFBF4 00000000

I can confirm the code works for disabling barriers for when you are too far away from the track, but not for ground, water, falls, etc. It's a start, but hopefully one day we'll have a Gateway code for disabling all of it. The Kalimari Desert tunnel doesn't work too (I think the kill barrier there uses the fall type).

I assume Citra uses Gateway codes the same way DeSmuME or No$GBA uses AR codes.

I'd try making my own codes, but I'm not sure how yet. While can kinda do some stuff with Cheat Engine, it's not much.
