Ok, so now when I try to charge my DS the light comes on for a second, then goes off, and the DS won't power on. I've looked on the Internet how to get it to work again, but is doesn't work.

HELP!

Is is a Legit Nintendo charger?

My dog chewed on my Nintendo manufactured charger- so I have this cheap one that only works if I stretch the entire cable tightly out while the DS charges, just for it to charge- for some reason, one bend on the cable will make it stop charging, it's really stupid.

But if you've had your DS for a long time, chances are you might need a new battery, or maybe the fuses did break. Open up the battery compartment, and clean it a bit (I opened up mine about a month ago, and it was compltely dusty and almost rusty x.x Might need one soon)

I have 2 chargers for the DS: the one that came with the system and a car adapter. Both have same results

Well sometimes if I constantly push in and pull out the ac adapter the DS will go on for a split second then go out. Plus it worked fine before.

i have the same problem with my dsi sometimes. it happens everytime when i try to fix my l and r buttons. when the l and r buttons stop working you blow in them to fix them but it will damage ur ds. yes everytime i turn on my dsi it turns off immediately but i found a way to fix it. when turning on my dsi i hold down the a button at the same time and it worked also i have to let it sleep for a day or two to get it fully working again.
